Bio
Martin Dominic Steichen passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid, Oklahoma. He was 90. Mart was born March 8, 1927 in Perry, Oklahoma to Aloysius and Rose Steichen. He married Mildred Patak on October 7, 1950 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Perry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred, one brother, Don, one sister, Lorene Artman, and one great-grandchild, Gabriel Sullivan. Visitation will be from 8am-8pm on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Trout Funeral Home, 505 W. Grand Avenue in Ponca City. A Rosary service will be held at Trout Funeral Home, at 6 pm on Monday, February 19, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ponca City under the direction of Trout Funeral Home with Reverend Carson Krittenbrink officiating.
