Funeral services for Joe Vrazel, 73, of Danbury will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Danbury. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Sunday, February 14, 2016 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with the Rosary being recited at 7:00pm that evening. Joe was born January 20, 1943 in Angleton to Donat and Marie Pavlicek Vrazel and passed away February 12, 2016 in Alvin. Joe, a 1961 graduate of Danbury High School, enjoyed farming and loved polka music. He served in the US Army and was married to Nina Barchak on May 23, 1976 in Danbury. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Vincent Vrazel. Joe is survived by his wife, Nina Vrazel, children, Patrick Vrazel, Matthew Vrazel, Stephanie Hawk and husband, Travis all of Danbury and Monica Vrazel of Angleton, brothers, Florin Vrazel and wife, Maureen, of Danbury, Edwin Vrazel of Angleton, Paul Vrazel and wife, Marianne of Danbury, Louis Vrazel and wife, Pat of Danbury, sisters, Sister Anna Marie Vrazel of San Antonio, Martha Schaatt of Danbury, Lillie Zgabay and husband, August of Wallis, Theresa Jones of Danbury, Margaret Bargas and husband, Mike of Angleton and 3 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ken Barchak, Matthew Vrazel, Phillip Vrazel, John Vrazel, Sonny Vrazel and Little Joe Spillars, III. Jason Vrazel will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
