Parents: Matej (Mathew) (Mike) Kucera (1884-1952) and Anna Marie Rech (1888-1987). Married Richard Wayne Lowe March 12,1945 in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, USA. Married Walter Christopher Fontana February 14, 1960 in San Diego County, California, USA. Sunset Funeral Home, Prescott Valley, Yavapai County, Arizona, USA. Marge, 90, of Prescott Valley, Arizona passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on April 16, 2016. She was born on Dec. 9, 1925 in Bruno, Nebraska. She graduated high school at South High School in Omaha, Nebraska. She worked with SRP, The Arizona Republic and the San Diego Tribune before she became a beloved homemaker. She moved from San Diego, California to Prescott Valley, which she was proud to call her final home the past 30 years. She was an active member of the Elks and Moose Club and also to the Prescott Valley community as she had touched so many lives. She loved all of her family and friends dearly along with cooking, traveling which included many travel adventures with The Master’s Touch Tours, polka music, singing karaoke, her love for her cats, putting on extravagant parties, but most importantly her passion for oil and china painting. Marge was preceded in death by her late husband of 39 years, Walter Fontana. Marge is survived by her daughter Peggy Detweiler (Keith); stepchildren, Janice Fontana (Linda), Sharon Fulkerson (Dave) and Dan Fontana (Nancy); grandchildren Eric, Allison, Alayna, Liza, Aaron, Brent and Devon; along with 13 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sweet cat, Sony. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 E. State Route 69, Prescott Valley, AZ. 86314. A celebration of life will be afterwards at Marge’s house, 7943 E. Manley Drive, Prescott Valley, AZ. 86314.
