Margaret is the daughter of Anton Frank & Ludmilla "Lydia" (Kracman) Spatz. Margaret married Leonard Leo Ratkovec on September 27, 1951 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Brainard, Nebraska. Ratkovec, 89 of Wahoo, NE entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Premier Estates of Fremont in Fremont, NE. She was born May 24, 1928 in Brainard, NE to Anton and Ludmila (Krajcman) Spatz. She attended grade school at the Brainard Country School. She was united in marriage to Leonard Ratkovec on September 27, 1951 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Brainard. In her early years, Margaret worked as a waitress at Leisure Lanes in Omaha and a Daycare provider but most of all she was a stay-at-home mother and wife. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, bowling, Bingo, bird watching and taking care of her farm animals. Margaret is survived by her daughters, Jennie (John Noonan) Nicholls of Colon, NE, Julie Mathis of Fremont, NE; grandchildren, Terry Ligon, Duane Ligon, Cassandra (Raymond) Hoover, Crystal (Michael) Jackson; great-grandchildren, Jasmine Irving, Brian Ligon, Isabella Jackson, Elyssa Jackson, Cain Jackson, Aurora Hoover, Lyla Hoover; sister-in-law, Adeline Divis; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Ratkovec; three children; grandson, Christopher Ratkovec and numerous brothers and sisters.
