Obituary - "death came as a relief from more than three years of suffering to Mrs. L.A. Hargrove (Hettie Rosana Wallace Hargrove) this (Friday) morning... Funeral services will be held at the home near old Troy this afternoon at four o'clock and enterment will be made at Roberts Cemetery. Rev. J. W. Sharbuh, pastor of the Methodist Church, will conduct services and the active pallbearers will be: C.O.Robison, W.L. Parks, Charles Howard, J.T. Simmons, R.L. Hartman and Lee Anderson. Honorary Pallbearers will be: J. W. Gill, Gray Little, F.L. Parker, J.L. Lancaster, N.C. Law, W.L.Mardgen. Hettie Wallace was born at Blanche, Tennessee, on Jan. 22, 1870. She was married about 35 years ago in Tennessee to L.A. (Louis Artentious 'Tin' Austin) Hargrove and together they came to Texas in 1904, settling in this community.......Besides the devoted husband,deceased is survived by seven children: B.D.(Belton David), Mrs. E.H. Hartgrove (Mary Jane) , Austin (Austin Franklin) Hargrove , Mrs. Mamie Blackburn, Mrs. Agnes Wilkerson, Mrs. Vera Jackson, and Ira Lee, all of Troy. Four brothers, T.B. (Tobe Benjamin) Wallace of Dallas, O.H. (Odia Hearl) Wallace of Alabama, W.O. (William Oscar) Wallace of Oklahoma and John Wallace of Joshua, also survive..." Date of Death 10 Aug 1923
