Knight, William James Nov. 15, 2001 Beaumont Enterprise James William Knight, 82, of Call died Nov. 15, 2001, at Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at E. E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. A longtime resident of Call, he was a retired pipe fitter and World War II U.S. Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Eula Lee Knight of Call; son, Jimmy Don Knight of Chula Vista, Calif.; stepdaughter, Evelyn O'Neill of Lakeside, Calif.; brother, John M. Knight of Call; sisters, Elizabeth Rodgers of Crosby and Cleto Golden of Jasper; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Note: His mother was Plumah Stanley Knight.born 13 Aug 1900. Grandparents: James M & Nancy E Bostick Knight.
