Bio

John Morgan Knight, age 91 of Call, Texas died Friday, June 26 , 2015 at his home. Funeral service will be 11am Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville, Texas. Burial will be in Trout Creek Cemetery. A native of Tarkington Prairie, Texas, he had lived in Call since 1974 and was a retired pipefitter with Local 195. He was a World War II U.S. Coast Guard Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy F. Knight of Call, son, John S. Knight of Wynn, Arkansas, daughters, Sarah Phillips of Conroe, Texas, Eva Beard of Georgia, Mary Stephens of Conroe and Janice Bingle of Old Salem, Texas, 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
