AGNES CINEK January 11, 1938 - January 9, 2018 Agnes Cinek, age 79, passed from this life with her family by her side on January 9, 2018, at Ennis Regional Hospital. She was born on January 11, 1938, to Joe J. Kapavik and Bessie (Maliska) Kapavik. Agnes was baptized at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and was a longtime member there. She attended school and graduated from there. She was a proud member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She loved singing and participating in St. John’s Requiem Choir. On April 19, 1958, Agnes married the love of her life, Edward J. Cinek at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Agnes worked for Hunt All Company in Dallas, Texas for 30 years and retired in 2007. She was a devoted grandmother who loved to bake and spend time with family. She was always on the go and loved to travel. After retiring, Agnes and Edward traveled to many exciting places, including Europe. Agnes is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Edward J. Cinek of Ennis, Texas, children; Johnna Russell and husband Trent of Frisco, Texas, Jason Cinek and wife Kelly of Lucas, Texas, and Monica Cinek of Frisco, Texas, grandchildren; Samuel, Haley, John, Kaitlyn, Madison, Joshua, and Jacob, siblings; Elizabeth Zabojnik, Frances Swafford, John Kapavik, Mary Alice Warrington, and Helen Mahdak along with numerous nieces and nephews. Agnes is preceded in death by her parents, brother Joe F. Kapavik, sister-in-law Delores Kapavik, and brother-in-law Gary Galbraith. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 6 p.m.—8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Ennis. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Ennis.
