Bean, Jessie "J.D." Funeral service for Jessie "J.D." Bean, 78, of Call was held at 2 p.m. July 17 at Call Pentecostal Church with burial in Trout Creek Cemetery under the direction of Causey's E. E. Stringer Funeral Home. He died Friday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont after an illness. Mr. Bean was a lifelong resident of Call. Survivors include his wife, Martin Bean of Call; three daughters, Beth Eldridge of Jasper, Joyce Gray of Dayton and Jessie Lewis of Silsbee; two sisters, Minnie Gilcrease of Kirbyville and Willie Mae Everman of Victoria; a brother, Floyd Bean of Kirbyville; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
