Services for Dorothy C. Dissinger, 83, Oskaloosa, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Inurnment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Mrs. Dissinger died Saturday, July 1, 2006, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born Nov. 29, 1922, in Atlantic, Iowa, the daughter of Leroy and Alpha Williamson Jolliffe. Mrs. Dissinger was a homemaker and a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Oskaloosa. She married Morris Fredrick Dissinger on May 28, 1950, in Perry. He died Aug. 21, 1999. Survivors include two sons, Herb Dissinger, Oskaloosa, and Leroy John Dissinger, Allen, Texas; a daughter, Cloeta McCarter, Oskaloosa; a brother, Wayne Jolliffe, Sterling, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
