Jack Jolliffe November 4, 2001 Oskaloosa Graveside inurnment services for Jack M. Jolliffe, 72, St. Francis, formerly of Oskaloosa, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Pleasant View Cemetery, Oskaloosa. Cremation is planned. Mr. Jolliffe died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at his home. He was born Aug. 13, 1929, in rural Perry, the son of LeRoy Raphael and Alpha Alice Belle Williamson Jolliffe. He lived in St. Francis for many years. Mr. Jolliffe was a truck driver for many years and retired from Ready Mix Concrete Co. in St. Francis in 1991. He also was St. Francis police chief for several years. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1952 to 1954. Mr. Jolliffe married Carol Lee Henninger on Aug. 2, 1963, at Cheyenne Wells, Colo. She survives of the home. Other survivors include two sons, Benjamin "Jamie," Wylie, Tex., and David, St. Francis; four daughters, Jeanie Janet Painter, Winchester, Julie Joan Kidd, Topeka, Lisa Dawn Jolliffe, Mesquite, Tex., and Angela Belle Henson, Grand Prairie, Tex.; a brother Wayne, Stratton, Colo.; a sister, Dorothy Dissinger, Oskaloosa; and four grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to Good Samaritan Village in St. Francis, sent in care of the Barnett Funeral Home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa 66066. Lawrence Journal - World
