Bio

Baulah M. Cummins, 93, of McAlester, died Tuesday at McAlester Regional Health Center. Born Dec. 23, 1902 in Chillicothe, Missouri, she was the daughter of Mart and Nora Teague Mosley. She was a lifelong resident of Pittsburg County, having farmed in the Indianola area most of her life. She was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Edith Marie and Tilden Dickens of McAlester; and a grandson, Nathaniel Dickens of Prague. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence E. Myers in 1942; her second husband, Cicero Cummins in 1966; a brother, Bailey Mosley; and four sisters, Cassie Janaway, Myrtle Whitfield, Grace Brown and Lorie Rose. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Friday at Choate Prairie Cemetery with Rev. Gary Bell officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bishop funeral Service of McAlester.
