Lynton L. Marty, 81 years, of Fremont passed away December 4, 2017 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born December 15, 1935 in Humphrey, NE to Ernest and Esther (Franzen) Marty. He went to school in Leigh, NE. He resided in Columbus, NE for some time and in 1955 moved to Fremont, NE. Lynton married Mila Davis on May 27, 1955 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. Lynton was a driver for Hubbard Feeds. He was a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Fremont. He also was a volunteer and sponsor for A.A. for several years in Fremont. Lynton is survived by his wife, Mila; son; Mike (Dee) Marty, of Fremont; daughters, Lori (Toby) Fitz of Arlington, NE and Marlene Morgan of Fremont; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Rick Marty and Jeff Marty; sister, Betty Nosal. Memorial Service will be 10:30 AM Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Rev. Mark Weber will officiate. Memorial visitation will be Wednesday, 4-8 PM with family receiving friends from 5-7 PM at Moser Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. (mosermemorialchapel.com/obituary)
