Agnes M. "Aggie" Chvatal, 100 years, of Fremont, NE died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at The Pathfinder House in Fremont. Aggie was born August 27, 1917 in Colome, South Dakota to John and Clara (Eckstein) Stritecky. She moved to the Morse Bluff area in the 1940's. Aggie married Francis Chvatal on March 22, 1944 in Fremont. The couple lived on a farm near Morse Bluff until retiring in 2001 and moving into Fremont. Francis died March 22, 2010. Aggie is survived by son, Glenn (Eileen) Chvatal of Prague, NE; daughter, Lori (Jim) Rosenbach of Fremont; sister, Lydia Hazuka of Tyler, TX; 4 grandchildren, Alexis (Brian) Glover of Olathe, KS, Amber (Dustin) Bjorklund of Fremont, Eric (Laura) Chvatal of Morse Bluff, NE and Bryon (Lesley) Chvatal of Prague, NE; and 5 great grandchildren, Ella Bjorklund, Jett Glover, Reid and Boyd Chvatal, and Brynley Chvatal. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, John Stritecky; sisters, Sophie Havelka and Adeline Toman; and grandson, Evan James Rosenbach. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Moser Memorial Chapel in North Bend, NE. The Rev. Scott Jensen will officiate. Visitation will be on Friday from 5 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home. Burial at the Killian Cemetery, near Morse Bluff. Memorials may be given to the Killian Cemetery or American Legion Post #340 of Morse Bluff. (mosermemorialchapels.com/obituary)
