Bio

Minnie L. Gunst, 86, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 1990, at Lincoln General Hospital. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pleasanton with the Revs. Jan Smutny and Stanley Gorak officiating. Burial will be at Pleasanton Cemetery. Rosary will be said 7:30 tonight at the church. Horner-Lieske-Horner Mortuary in Kearney is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Gunst was born July 9, 1904, in Pleasanton to Robert and Filomnina (Kreutzer) Kirschner. She married William B. Gunst May 3, 1027, in Pleasanton. She farmed with her husband in the Pleasanton area until his death in 1962. She worked in the physical therapy department at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney for several years. She moved to Lincoln two years ago. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Kearney. Survivors include daughters, Lois J. O'Nele, Lincoln, and Delores Peppler, Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers and two sisters.
