****************************************** Arlan F. "Arlie" Eckstein, 65 years, of Linwood, NE died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Fremont Health Medical Center in Fremont. Arlie was born September 19, 1952 in Columbus, NE to Frank and Tillie(Focher)Eckstein. He was employed at Valmont Industries in Valley, NE until retiring. He also owned Arlie's Bar in North Bend, NE. Arlie enjoyed music and was in the band, "Black Rose" and played guitar and bass guitar. He liked horses and motorcycles. Arlie is survived by daughters, Holly(Brad)Talkington of Aurora, NE and Summer(Jason)Ekstein of Valparaiso, NE; sister, Jan Eaton of North Bend; and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life will be held at Arlie's Bar in North Bend on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 2 PM to 4 PM. Memorials may be directed to the family.
