Bio

Allen Wayne Breeden, age 70, of Palestine, passed away peacefully on Friday, the 29th day of December, 2017 at Trucare Nursing Center in Palestine. He was born on the 29th day of August, 1947 in Haskell, Texas to John Wesley Breeden Sr. and Martha Estella Dunnam. Following high school graduation, Allen attended Ranger Junior College. He then joined the United States Marine Corps where he was a Vietnam Veteran and served his country for many years. After the service, he enrolled at Tarrant College and received a degree. Allen went on to work for the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. When Allen was young, he enjoyed riding horses and bulls. As he grew older, Allen became an avid Nascar and New Orleans Saints Football Fan. He loved to garden and repair things around the house. Allen Breeden is preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Breeden. Graveside services with Military Honors for Allen Breeden will be conducted following the reception at two o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 5th day of January, 2018 at Chambers Day Cemetery.
