Son of Joseph and Josephine (Marek) Blazek. Veteran - U.S. Army PFC Co G 19 INF REGT World War I ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Jerry Henry Blazek, 72, died yesterday in a Kerrville hospital. He was a native of Bryan, and had lived here 36 years before moving to Amarillo in 1950. He had been in a veterans hospital in Kerrville for some time. He was a veteran of World War I. Funeral arrangements by Cage-Mills Funeral Home. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ray Kiesel of Corpus Christi; two sons, Jerome Blazek of Rio Frio and Bill Blazek of Corpus Christi; one sister, Mrs. Lean Ventrcek of Jourdanton; and eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Corpus Christi Times dated May 25, 1971
