Hospital. She was born near Coon Rapids, Iowa to Erick and Lisa Kristina Wickland Strandberg. She married Robert T. Gilbert on Oct. 21, 1914. He died on 4 Jan 1980. Esther was survived by six sons, Milo, Ted, Wayne, Richard, Dean, and Paul Strandberg; two daughters, Noveleen, and Esther; one sister, Mrs. Marie Cretsinger; 29 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
