Bio

Services for Justin J. Zbranek, 78, of La Grange were held Dec. 7 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Msgr. Harry Mazurkiewicz officiating. Interment followed at La Grange City Cemetery. Zbranek died Dec. 5 at Monument Hill Nursing Home in La Grange. He was born March 5, 1912 in La Grange, the son of Frank and Annie Pisklak Zbranek and was united in marriage with Marjorie Spittler on Sept. 4, 1938 in La Grange. He was a dairyman and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Eugene Ray and three brothers, Willie, Frank and Henry. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Zbranek of La Grange, one son, Paul Zbranek of Houston, one daughter, Barbara Jurecka of La Grange, two brothers, Eddie Zbranek and Ludwig Zbranek, both of La Grange, and two sisters, Annie Trlicek and Albina Huebel, also of La Grange.
