PARENTS: Everett V. Johnson and Lydia Anna Brown MARRIAGE: Bentley Robert Orr DATE: April 1, 1942 OBITUARY: Alberta Orr Alberta, our Mother (Mom), entered another reality December 13, 2017, in Kennewick, Washington. Born the sixth child of twelve to Everett V. and Lydia Anna (Brown) Johnson in Squires, Missouri on August 30, 1926. She never knew what it was to not be surrounded by a huge number of family. Alberta continued that with her own, getting married to Bentley Robert Orr, April 1, 1942, in Ava, Missouri. She would have nine children: Wandola (Orr) Benson, Don Wayne, Robert Gene, Allen Larry, Shirley Ann (Orr) Clyde, Ronnie (Feb. 10, 1950-Feb. 20, 1964), Dorothy Lenora (Orr) Nutter-Cox, Victoria Lynne (Orr) Campbell, and Paul (Oct. 31, 1961). Helping keep that trend, Alberta’s children set a goal of 27 grandchildren for her, many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, here, and others, still abiding in comfort. At 4’9”, to those that had the chance to know her, she stood a larger person. Your physical being Mom will be sorely missed. Your kind, gentle ways missed, but know that the memory of you will live in the minds of the many who were favored the chance to know Mrs. Alberta Orr. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017, 1:30 p.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 10th and Union Street, Kennewick. The Orr family thank each and every one who honors her memory.
