Claudia "Sue" Glenn Drake Lindsey 4/5/1939 - 11/11/2005 Funeral services for Claudia Sue Lindsey, 66, of Emory, formerly of Wolfe City, Texas were held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 14, 2005 at Freedom Church of God under the direction of Coker Mathews Funeral Home with Rev Kenneth Ishmael officiating. Burial was in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City Texas. Pallbearers were: Ron Fahrni, Rick Sampson, Brad Childers, Jesse Brooks, Cody Brooks, and Jeremy Underwood. Mrs. Lindsey died Friday, November 11, 2005 at Hopkins Memorial Hospital in Sulphur Springs. She was born April 5, 1939 in Greenville the daughter of Claude E and May Painter Glenn. She married William "Dub" Lindsey on March 3, 1978 in Emory. She was a homemaker and a member of Freedom Church of God. She is survived by her husband, William "Dud" Lindsey of Emory, three step-daughters and their spouses, Pam and Jesse Brooks of Greenville, Duronda and Rick Sampson of Greenville, Shelia and Ron Fahrni of Arlington. One grandson, Brad Childers of Cash, six step-grandchildren, Kim Underwood and spouse Craig, Jeremy Underwood and spouse Tammy, Hillary Gilliam and spouse Nick, Cody Brooks, Sarah Sampson and Lindsey Fahrni, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Susan Dianne Drake Childers.
