Belton Albert "Dugan" Townley, 77, of Crossett died Sunday, March 18, 2007. Born July 15, 1929, to Jack Monroe and Audrey Mae Hamilton Townley in Vick, he was an Army veteran and retired pipefitter for Georgia Pacific. He was a member of the McCormick Hill Deer Camp and Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church and loved to read, fish and socialize. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jo Ann Johnson Townley; two sons, Ricky Townley and Randy Dale Townley and wife Luanne; one daughter, Kimberly Watson and husband Hughen, all of Crossett; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Jack David Townley; one brother, Fredrick Townley; two sisters, Helen Farrish and Ivaliece Jeffreys; and a niece, Kathy Sue Jeffreys. Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, in the Jarvis Chapel Baptist Church with Reverend Ray Hearron and Mike Griffith officiating. Pallbearers were to be Daniel Watson, Chad Watson, Matt Townley, Brad Townley, Stephen Carter, Brad McGhee, Brad White and Don Hart. Interment was to follow at the Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett. Memorials may be made to Hospice Home Care, 455 W.
