Upon our return to the room as were talking, laughing and about to put the key in the lock - the door opened and a man stepped out having fixed the light. We scared him and he scared us. It all ended in great laughter and we relished telling folks we had a man in our room! Since we have both moved, I have looked forwarded to her visits to Myra here in California. With great fondness for her wonderful daughters, Sidney Thompson - 4 hours ago *Elizabeth was special to me. When I moved to Weatherford in 1990 she was one of the first to welcome me. Her invitation to share in her family's Thanksgiving dinner when I knew so few people in town meant so much to me. I knew her mainly through our work at St. Mark's and in book club. She added so much to both groups--her intelligence and creativity enriched the church and the book group immeasurably. She will be missed.
