Wife of SGT Clarence E Katzfey US Army Air Corps Our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and dear friend, Edith Kana Katzfey went to be with the Lord on November 12, 2017 at the age of 92. She was born on October 4, 1925 in Midfield, TX to the late Stephen and Frances Muzney Kana. In her younger days, Edith was an active member of St. Benedict’s Church and School. She was also a member of St. Benedict’s Church and Altar Society. Edith enjoyed playing bingo and cards with her friends and watching the Spurs. She also enjoyed in helping raise the joy of her life, her granddaughter, Amber. Edith was preceded in death by her husband Clarence in 1990 and her son, James Allen, daughter-in-law Rhonda, her parents; her sisters, Frances Kruppa, Annie Zapalac, Mary Kana, and Josie Bacak; her brothers, Henry, George, Joe, Edmund and Stephen Kana, Jr. Edith is survived by her daughter, grandchild, sisters in law, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
