Bio

Edmund Raymond Kana , 86 of El Campo, passed away on January 22, 2015. He was born on January 24, 1928 in Matagorda County to the late Stephen and Frances Muzny Kana. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran, and a member of American Legion Post 251, Knights of Columbus Council 2490, KJT and the SPJST. Edmund enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents ; sisters, Frances Kruppa, Annie Zapalac, Mary Kana, and Josie Bacak; brothers, Henry, George, Joe, and Stephen Kana, Jr. Visitation will be at Triska Funeral Home. A Rosary will be held at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church with the Funeral Mass with Rev. Albert Yankey officiating. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Memorial Park.
