Marcia Taylor Garrison, wife to the late John Lloyd Garrison, passed away, November 6, 2017. Born in Greer, a daughter to the late Henry Lee Taylor, Sr. and Lorene Vaughn Taylor, Mrs. Garrison was the proud owner of Originals by Marcia, where she specialized in decorating houses and businesses for Christmas. She was a beloved member of Easley First Baptist Church, where she was a choir member for many years and a Sunday School teacher for over 25 years. She was also a faithful member of Intercessory Prayer Team there. She was a member of Botany Park Women's Club, a board member for the Hamilton House, and a founding board member for Easley Community Theatre, which is now known as Foothills Playhouse. She was an actress in many plays at Easley Community Theatre, where she was best known for her role as Miss Hannigan in "Annie". Surviving are daughters, Larisa Dukes (Troy) of Marietta, GA, Kristina Rankin (Blair) of Liberty, and Tara Lee Kelly (Chris) of Seneca; a sister-in-law, Rozell Garrison of Liberty; grandchildren, Jessa Lorene Dukes, Hannah Rose Rankin, and John Thomas "JT" Kelly; seven nieces, three nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Henry Lee Taylor, Jr., Jack Vaughn Taylor; and a brother-in-law, Bill Garrison. Entombment at Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
