Bio

I added this additional memorial to Alfred N. Jones Sr., because the Confederate Marker added later is not correct with the birth date, and used the alternate "Alford" spelling of his given name. The original monument is still legible and shows July 2, 1823 and Feb 15 1910. Alfred N. Jones was my paternal great-grandfather through my grandfather Lazarus Rufus (L. R.) Jones, who married Sarah Ann Elizabeth Kitchens.
