Bio

Son of Henry & Anna (Boesch) Luetkenhaus. He grew up on the family farm near Lindsay, attended Holy Family Schools in Lindsay and St. Joseph's College in Westmont, Illinois. He married Eleanor "Nora" Van Dyke on September 29, 1942 at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Frank and Nora farmed in the St. Bernard area until 1963. Frank and Nora then built and were the owner/operators of the Midway Motel. Frank also sold advertising specialties for Falcon Specialty Company. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, St. Isidore Council of the Knights of Columbus, and was an E.M.E. Frank was an avid gardener, enjoyed playing cards, playing golf in his younger years, and spending time with his family. Frank will always be remembered for his strong faith, his gentle ways, and his ready smile.
