Wife of ristian James ∼ Research conducted at the Herman Brown Free Library, Burnet, Texas on February 9, 1999. Information from "Burnet County Cemetery Records 1852 - 1982" by Burnet County Historical Commission: "A grave is located between Rocky Creek and Highway 183 on land owned by Woodrow Chamberlain, formerly owned by John H. Adams, in which Belvarita James-Glazener is buried. She was the wife of Christian James and after his death she married John B. Glazener 22 Mar 1868 in Williamson County, Texas. She was the mother of John H. James, on whose place she was buried." Her marker rests within a small chain-link mausoleum enclosure. The spot lies east of Rocky Creek between a 40-acre field and a shallow spring creek, and is surrounded by cedar and live oaks. In fact, you can see it on Google Earth by typing in these coordinates: +30• 56' 3.11", -97• 59' 17.96". Zoom in as close as possible and you will see a small grey rectangle just east of a dirt path.
