Mrs. Marilyn Stewart Anderson, 71, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 in Rabun, Alabama. Mrs. Anderson was a native and resident of Rabun, Alabama. She was a member of the Fretwell Tabernacle Holiness Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow & Sadie Stewart, son, James “Trey” Long, III, brother, Billy Stewart, sister, Betty Allen and step daughter, Shelly Thread. She is survived by her two daughters, Teresa & Chris Vanderkooi of St. Petersburg, FL and Connie Long of Rabun, AL; one step-daughters, Shelia & Lee McGuire of Tyler, TX; three brothers, Burk & Lucille Stewart of Rabun, AL, Jerry & Carolyn Stewart of Rabun, AL and Rocky & Shelia Stewart of Rabun, AL; six sisters, Barbara & Rayford Hadley of Pine Grove, AL, Sherry Jean Ryan of Pine Grove, AL, Joal Linette Thomas of Rabun, AL, Margie & Steve Doyle of Crossroads, AL, Janice & Alonzo Sims of Rabun, AL and Shelia & Bryan Foster of Rabun, AL; four grandchildren, Briannia, Jett, Josh & Alex; five step-grandchildren; one great grandchild, Harper; eleven step great grandchildren and eight step great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, October 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Sis. Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at the Dean Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, October 23, 2017 from 12:30 PM until service time at 2:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home. Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes, LLC in charge of all arrangements, Atmore, Alabama.
