Ernest L. “Ernie” Weikle February 09, 1933 ‒ October 14, 2017 Ernest L. “Ernie” Weikle, age 84, of Bellville, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 in Good Shepherd Home in Ashland following a long illness. He was born Feb. 9, 1933 in Union, West Virginia, the son of Henry and Anna (Wickline) Weikle. At the age of 20 Ernie entered the U.S Navy. He proudly served his country for three years. Ernie worked 38 years at Ideal Electric retiring in 2005, he was a hard worker and a good provider for his family. On April 16, 1991 he married his wife who survives in Bellville. Also surviving are his children, a sister-in-law, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Ernie was preceded in death by 9 siblings Sadie, Dolly, Zola, Bessie, Hettie, Walton, Howard, Clancy and Billy Joe.
