Dave Blahak, age 62, of Columbus, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in Lincoln. Dave was born September 7, 1955 in Columbus to Herman and Stacia (Micek) Blahak. He received his education at Columbus Public Schools. Dave began working for the City of Columbus in 1975. He has worked for the street department since. Dave married Evelyn "Ev" Bialas on June 12, 1976 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Fullerton. He enjoyed camping, fishing, NASCAR and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. Dave is survived by; Wife: Evelyn "Ev" Blahak of Columbus Son: Jeremy Blahak of Columbus Son: Jordan Blahak of Columbus Granddaughters: Macy and Kaylie Blahak of Columbus Brother: Herman (Angela) Blahak of Abilene, Tx Brother: John (Shirley) Blahak of Palatka, Fl Sister: Teena Rawhouser of Columbus Sister-in-law: Diane Blahak of Lincoln He was preceded in death by parents; brother: Laverne, sister: Rosie and brother-in-law Harry Frerichs, brother: Joe Blahak, brother-in-law: Jim Rawhauser.
