Bio

Carlene Jean Griggs, 60, of Mound Valley died at 1027pm Monday, August 28,2000, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born Nov 28, 1938, to Creed and Mabel (Mitchell) Shomber of Mound Valley. She married William "Bill" Griggs on Dec 17, 1971, in Miami, Okla. He preceded her in death on Jan 3, 1992. She lived in the Mound Valley Area all her life. She was an assembly line worker at the A.C.C. of Independence. Survivors include a sone, Jeff Griggs of Mound Valley; a daughter, Rhonda Waller of Phoenix, Az and a brother, Glen Shomber of Mound Valley. She was prededed in death by a sister and an infant sister.
