Bio
Meagan Gould, 33, of Corsicana, Texas, passed away September 29, 2017, after a brave and courageous battle with Stage IV breast cancer. Burial will be in Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery. Meagan was born in Texas to Gregory and Susan Slovak. She graduated from Ennis High School in 2002. She then went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas A&M Commerce. She married Jason Gould on June 21, 2008. Meagan took great joy in watching her son, Jaxon, play baseball and spending time with her family and friends. Meagan was the Director of the Westminster Presbyterian Child Enrichment Program. She was very passionate in the growth and improvement of the program. She touched the lives of many families and was an inspiration to all that knew her. Meagan was preceded in death by her sister, Rachel Lynea Slovak; and her grandfathers, George A. Robinson, Jr. and Raymond Slovak. Survivors include her husband, Jason; son, Jaxon; step-daughter, Reagan; parents, Gregory and Susan Slovak; sister, Morgan Hickerson and husband, Corey; niece, Brighton Hickerson; grandmothers, Wanda Robinson and Helen Slovak; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many friends.
