OBITUARY: Menomonee Falls News Sept, 1941 "MRS. ODELIA WICK SUCCUMBS HERE. Mrs. Odelia Wick (nee Hoffman) aged 64 years, passed away at the home of her daugther, Mrs. Henry Weber in this village on Sunday, Aug 31. Mrs. Wick had suffered ill health for the past six months. She was born in the town of Menomonee in which community she spent her entire life, most of it on a farm at Fussville. Since the time she fell and sustained injuries at her home at Fussville some months ago, she came to this village to be cared for by her two daughters, Mrs. Weber and Mrs. Matt Riehle. During her life time she was a devout memeber of the St. Anthony's church and of the Christian Mothers organization. Mr. Wick preceded his wife in death a few years ago. Surviving her are four sons; Phillip and Alphonse, this village; Leander and Joseph, town of Menomonee; four daughters, Rose Riehle, Kate Weber this village; Cecelia Deck, Pewaukee; Josephine, Fussville. 15 grandchildren , three sons-in-law and four daughters-in-law also survive. Funeral services were held Thursday Sept 4, at 9 a.m. from the residence at Fussville to St. Anthony's church at 9:30 a.m. Burial was in the church cemetery. The body was in state at the Haack funeral home Thuesday and on Wednesday the Christian Mothers held vigil at the residence." In the St. Anthony death records it states Odelia Wick (Mrs. John Wick) was age 64 from Fussville, was buried at St. Anthony
