Bio
Elisabeth married Bernard "Barney" Stuttgen on 3 Sep 1878 in Fussville, Waukesha, WI, and they had eight children: Anna Margaretha, Philip, Henry W., Servatus M., William Matt, Paul Frank, Rosa, and another who died in infancy. Source unknown, dated 24 Dec. 1926 Elizabeth, wife of Bernard Stuttgen, died at her home in this city on Monday last. She was born in Granville, Wis., April 7 1855 and was married to Mr. Stuttgen on Sept 2, 1878, when they moved to Menomonee Falls where they resided for 13 years, thence to Appleton for nine years and then they settled on the farm west of the city where they resided for 23 years, moving to this city about three years ago. Eight children were born to them, six of whom with the husband survive her. They are: Mrs. Peter Lauer [Anna Margaretha], Henry, Servatus M., William and Paul Stuttgen of this place and Phillip of Oconto Falls. She is also survived by a brother and a sister, 15 grandchildren and great grandchildren. The funeral was held on Thursday, from St. Ann's Church.
