Annie Lucile Blackmon Stewart (August 20, 1929 - September 17, 2017) Annie Lucile Blackmon Stewart, age 88, born in Rabun AL to George Thomas and Sarah A. Stewart Blackmon, died Sunday, September 17, 2017 at North Baldwin Infirmary. She was a retired machine operator at Mannor Slacks. She is survived by her children, Larry Douglas (Rhonda) Stewart of Duluth, GA, Kathy Stewart Hollingsworth of Rabun and Kevin Lee (Brenda) Stewart of Bay Minette, AL; seven grandchildren, Courtney Stewart of Bay Minette, AL, Madison Stewart of Bay Minette, AL, Laura Stewart Gulledge of Atlanta, GA, Stewart Hollingsworth of Spanish Fort, AL, Kathryn Hollingsworth Byrd of Rabun, Tiffany Hollingsworth of Loxley, AL and Brannon Hollinsgworth of Hartselle, AL and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Lee “Peanut” Stewart; a daughter, Karen Ann Stewart; a son-in-law, Buford Lee Hollingsworth and three brothers, Elvie T. Blackmon, Virgil Blackmon and James V. Blackmon. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Vision Ministries Church of God with Reverend Alan Blackmon and Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Dean Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Vision Ministries Church of God.
