Jeannine M. DeLucia, 66, of 101 W. Third St., Oil City, died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 1994, in Grandview Health Care in Oil City. Born Nov. 26, 1928, in Oil City, she was a daughter of Edwin G. and Mildred Simpson Schoonover. Mrs. DeLucia was a graduate of Oil City High School. She worked for 16 years for Dr. Robert Ricketts in Oil City and then worked as a switch-board operator at the Oil City Hospital. She then was employed in the record room at the hospital for 20 years, retiring is 1990. Mrs. DeLucia was a member of St. Stephen church in Oil City. She also was a member of the Oil City Moose, Pulaski Club, Oil City VFW and the Oil City YWCA. Mrs. DeLucia was an avid bowler. She was married in July 1950 to John DeLucia, who survives. Also surviving are a son James E. DeLucia of Palm City, Fla., and five grandchildren. She also is survived by three brothers, Edwin G. Schoonover of Oil City and William A. Schoonover, both of Meadville; and three sisters, Mrs. Paul (Shirley) Hewston of Oil City, Margaret "Peg" Reagle of Meadville and Dorothy Aaron of Temple, Texas. The Osenider Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no calling hours. Mrs. DeLucia's body was donated to science. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Stephen Church. The family suggests that memorials be made to a charity of one's choice.
