Shirley Ann Hewston, 84, of San Antonio, TX, formerly of E 4th St, Oil City, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in San Antonio, TX. Born October 26, 1930 in Oil City, she was a daughter of the late Edwin G. and Mildred Simpson Schoonover. Mrs. Hewston enjoyed listening to Country music, playing cards and playing bingo. On August 17, 1953, she was married in Franklin to Paul E. Hewston, Sr., who preceded her in death on October 17, 2002. Surviving are three sons, Edwin Hewston of Oil City, Paul Hewston, Jr. of PA, and John Hewston of Reading; two daughters, Sandra Rozek of Hammond, IN, and Catherine Hernandez of San Antonio, TX; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Jerry Schoonover of Meadville; a sister, Peg Reagle of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Schoonover and Edwin Schoonover, and two sisters, Dorothy Aaron and Jean DeLucia. The family will be receiving friends from 10 to 11 am Tuesday at the Morrison Funeral Home. Interment will then follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
