LUFKIN - Graveside services for Pat Griffith, 60, Lufkin, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Homer Cemetery with Brother Cary Modisette officiating under direction of Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home, Lufkin. Mrs. Griffith died March 10, 2007, at her residence. She was born Nov. 7, 1946, in Nacogdoches to the late Benjamin Perry and Beatrice McKenzie Hardy. She lived in Lufkin most of her life, and was a homemaker and a member of Lala Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Hardy. Survivors include her husband of 13 years, W. Timothy "Tim" Griffith, Lufkin; daughter, Tonya Brown Lewis, Etoile; son, Billy Jack Russell, Huntington; brothers, Billy Hardy, Huntington, and Charles Hardy, Tyler; sister, Leesa Hearn, Lufkin; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Pallbearers are James Chamblee, Braxton Hardy, Cody Hardy and Matthew Creamer. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Published in the Tyler Morning Telegraph on 3/12/2007.
