Bio

Arnold R. Seymour, 79, 635 Tennessee St., Gulfport, was pronounced dead at 3:11 a.m. today on arrival at Memorial Hospital. Mr. Seymour, a native of Biloxi, born March 2, 1889, had resided in Pascagoula prior to moving to Gulfport 19 years ago. He was a retired employee of the U.S. Engineers. Mr. Seymour is survived by three step-daughters, Mrs. Archie Holmes, Gulfport; Mrs. T. J. Smith, Vancleave; and Mrs. E. L. Worthy, Natchez;, four stepsons; J. W. Lofton and Walter W. Lofton, Gulfport; S. J. Lofton and Sidney B. Lofton, both of Mobile; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and one brother, Nick Seymour, North Biloxi. Friends may call at Riemann Funeral Home in Gulfport after 6:30 this evening. The service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Darrell Mayo, pastor of the Congregational Methodist Church, Gulfport, officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Gardens. Bloxi Daily Herald Tuesday, February 11, 1969
