Bio

She was raised in Gilmer and graduated from Gilmer High School in 1966. She then moved to Mesa, Arizona with her family. Judy was a graduate of UT Tyler with a Bachelor of Science and was a Registered Nurse. She worked at Baylor Medical Center in Gilmer until it closed, and later worked as the school nurse in Gilmer for the next 20 years. She was active in the LDS church and held many positions. She loved her flower garden, playing the piano, sewing, and she loved babies. She especially loved making blankets for her grandchildren. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Ritter and Laverne Starks Ritter, and her brother James Ritter.
