Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Independent April 1984 Theresa V. Guzinski, 88, a resident of Heritage Village North, died Wednesday at a local care home. Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rev. Donald O'Brien will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be...at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home... Mrs. Guzinski was born Sept. 20, 1895, in Elyria, the daughter of John and Mary Ranwoski Zulkowski. She grew up and received her education in Elyria. On May 15, 1915, she married Frank Guzinski at Elyria. They lived in the Elyria area. They later moved to Ft. Smith, Ark., and in the 1960's returned to the Grand Island area. She had made her home at 1008 W. 11th until moving to Heritage Village North. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament parish. Survivors include three sons, Ernest of Missouri, Dominic of Iowa and Floyd of California; three daughters, Ms. Carl (Helen) Young of California, Mrs. Mae Makowski of Colorado and Mrs. Emily Zerbe of California; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Zulkowski of Burwell, and two sisters, Tillie of Colorado and Emma Guzinski of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Adrian and Leonard, Sr., four brothers and two sisters.
