She lived with her son, Newton Richard McLendon (#27257825), his wife Annie Aten McLendon (#134152235), and their 6 children after the Reverend passed on. 2 of her sons are also buried at Post Oak.William Monroe (#27257828) and Newton Richard, who was named after his maternal grandfather Newton Alsup.
