Murline Griggs was born on March 26, 1929 in Terrell, Texas to parents William Thomas and Minnie Lee (Cantrell) Jacobs and entered into eternal rest on July 18, 2018 at the age of 89. Murline was the sweetest Mama in the world. She loved everyone and was always there to lend a helping hand. Murline was very outgoing and loved going to garage sales and shopping. She enjoyed making ceramics, gardening, growing flowers and making beautiful arrangements with them. Murline also enjoyed cooking and spending time with family. She was an amazing lady, who will be missed tremendously by those who knew and loved her. Murline was preceded in death by parents Tom and Minnie Jacobs, brothers; Marvin Jacobs, Tommy Lee Jacobs, Lloyd Jacobs, Lewis “Slim” Jacobs, Billy Dean Jacobs and wife Eunice Ann “Pat”, Audrey Cecil Jacobs and his wife Kate and sister Della Lee McClure and husband Horace, and her Son Robert Dewayne Griggs. She is survived by daughters; Teresa Belcher and husband Porter of Mabank, Brenda Lamar and husband Richard Beeson of Canton, grandchildren; Brandi Stanford and husband David of Dallas, Kimberley Foster of Dallas, Sunni Arnold of Dallas, Becky Rowe and husband Brian of Mabank, Amber Griggs of Athens, Deliesha Cooper of Colorado and Crystal Schneider of Katy, great-grandchildren; Hayley Spurgeon, Hannah Foster, Heidi Foster, Blayne Rowe, Bodie Rowe, Harley Foster, Slade Arnold, Grayson Stanford and Jack Stanford, great-great grandchildren; Jude Youngblood and Penelope Foster, daughter-in-law Darlene Griggs, many nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more friends.
