Bio

ELIJAH ALLEN DEAN. Elijah Allen Dean, 92, retired farmer who had lived in Everman 20 years, died Wednesday afternoon at his home there. He was a native of Georgia. Mr. Dean is survived by 13 children, 36 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. The children are Mrs. Lila Keith, Everman; Mrs. Rosa Borehanrdt, Mesquite; Mrs. Ollie James, Denton; Mrs. Delia Higason, Hope, Arkansas; Mrs. Jane Mancill, Grand Prairie; R. B. Dean, Everman; Charles Dean, Ranger; and John Reuben, Hicks; Copeland, Burleson and Odell Dean, all of Grand Prairie. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Everman Baptist Church, and burial was in Mesquite Cemetery. From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram (Fort Worth, Texas), Thursday, April 2, 1942.
