Ruth Evelyn Grable, 87, of Sherman, died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in Denison. Reverend Novice Northington will officiate. Ruth was born on June 15, 1930 in Ferris, Texas, the daughter of Vernon and Opal Beesinger Cottle.She was married to Raymond “Bub” Grable and they worked and traveled for Six Flags Over Texas. She was a PBX operator for Six Flags in Arlington. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Red River Cowboy Church in Sherman. She is survived by her son, Randol Wofford of Broken Bow, OK; her daughter, Sheryl Kilgore of Colorado Springs, Co; her sister, Avalee Caldell of McKinney, TX; three grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
