Bio

Born in Los Angeles to S. W. and Roseanne (Phares) Puckett. Attended Hollywood High in Los Angeles. He later worked in the shipyards in the San Francisco area. Entered the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1942 and was stationed in England. Returning to Los Angeles, he worked for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Married Evelyn POLAN Aug. 8, 1945, in Los Angeles. They moved to Grand Island in 1949, where he worked as an engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad, retiring in 1976. Survivors were his wife; two daughters, LeAnne Puckett of Grand Island and Laura (Mrs. Robert, Jr.) Rupp of Omaha; four sons, Mick of Ord, Gary of Kearney, Daniel and Dale (Andy) of Grand Island and twelve grandchildren. Preceded in death by one sister and his parents.
