Johle, James W. of Taylor. Age 96. Died on Sunday, July 12, 1987, in a local nursing home. Services were held on Tuesday from Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial in Taylor City Cemetery. Rev. John Coburn officiated. He was born on December 3, 1890. A retired farmer and a lifelong resident of the Taylor area. Pallbearers were grandsons, Paul Knox, Patrick Knox, Brian Johle, Dennis Johle, Timothy Johle, and Vernon Johle. Survivors include his wife, Lydia Johle of Taylor; daughter, Mrs. Dan (Violet) Knox of Taylor; two sons, Melvin Johle of Thrall, and Calvin Johle of Austin; three brothers, Arthur and Adolph Johle, both of Taylor, and Dempsey Johle of Temple; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
